Special Notice: The Student Services Building (SSB) will close at 3:00pm on December 16, 17, 18 and 19th. On these dates our physical office will be accessible from 8:30am - 3:00pm. All Student Financial Aid & Scholarships (SFAS) staff will work remotely on December 20th and 23rd and will be reachable via email.

The SFAS Office will be closed for Winter Break December 24, 2024 through January 1, 2025.

The Student Financial Aid and Scholarships office is open at our 1800 SSB location.

Please know that all financial aid counseling and scholarship staff are working to support all student needs. Scholarship staff may be reached via email to scholarshiphelp@uic.edu.

Where is the office located?

The office is located within the Student Financial Aid and Scholarships office, in Suite 1800 of the Student Services Building (SSB). The Student Services Building is located at 1200 West Harrison Street (near the intersection at Racine).

What are the office hours?

The Student Financial Aid and Scholarships office is generally open 8:30am-5:00pm, Monday through Friday. During the summer months the office is open 8:30am-4:30pm, Monday through Friday.

We are eager to support students who have identified a particular scholarship for which they would like to apply. We also understand particular issues may arise when disabled and undocumented student seek opportunities, and are happy to set up one-on-one appointments with members of these communities.

Registered students may apply for UIC-based scholarships through UIC SnAP. Students can find external scholarships in the External scholarships section on this website, on our Mailing list archive, and in our library in 1800 Student Services Building (M-F, 9-5).
