UIC Scholarships

Continuing UIC Students

UIC SnAP is the internal scholarship information portal for the University of Illinois Chicago (UIC). If you are a current and/or continuing UIC student, you may log in using your UIC netid and password. The UIC SnAP portal will display a list of scholarships, based on a number of criteria, including major, financial aid status, etc.  Simply complete your General Application in UIC SnAP to get started (a new General Application must be submitted each academic year). It is important to note that the majority of UIC scholarship applications are available well in advance of the academic year for which the scholarship funding will be applied.

Students may complete and submit a General Application on or after August 25, 2021.  If a General Application was submitted prior to August 25, 2021 it has been archived and a new General Application must be submitted.

Please know that continuing students who utilized UIC SnAP to apply for scholarships for the 2021-2022 academic have been notified if they were selected as a recipient. Additionally, recipients have the scholarship(s) listed on their financial aid notification.

Newly Admitted Undergraduates for Fall 2022

Congratulations! We are excited to welcome you to the University of Illinois Chicago (UIC). The same documents provided to UIC Admissions are reviewed for scholarship consideration. The areas that conduct reviews are UIC Admissions, the College of study and if applicable the Honors College. The process is highly competitive. If your College of study requires additional action, they will contact you directly. Scholarship recipients receive written notice. Traditionally, the notification process concludes at the end of March for students beginning studies at UIC the following fall.
