Law Office Of Jerry D. Andrews, P.C. Community Impact Scholarship now offers one scholarship to undergraduate students who have made a substantial impact in their community through volunteer work.

Rangel International Affairs Fellowship for graduating seniors going on to graduate programs in international affairs or relations, planning on career in the Foreign Service

Herbert Scoville Jr. Peace Fellowship for Spring Semester  (Interested students are encouraged to contact the Office of External Fellowships) for graduating seniors, recent graduates or current graduate students able to work full-time for 6-9 months; individuals work with nonprofit, public-interest organizations addressing peace and security issues in Washington, DC; especially encouraged to apply are candidates with a strong interest in these issues who have prior experience with public-interest activism or advocacy

Polikoff-Gautreaux Fellowship for recent law school and public policy school graduates interested in developing skills, experiences and networking in public interest advocacy

Truman Scholarship (Interested students must contact the Office of External Fellowships) for current undergraduate students who demonstrate achievement in leadership, academics and public service who want a career related to public service

U.S. Environmental Protection Agency STAR Fellowships for Graduate Environmental Study  supports master's and doctoral students in environmental studies; students can pursue degrees in traditionally recognized environmental disciplines as well as other fields such as social anthropology, urban and regional planning, and decision sciences; up to $42,000 per year in support

Youth Service America-State Farm Good Neighbor Service Learning Awards  for support of projects that engage youth in public service

Armed Forces Communications and Electronics Foundation Disabled Veterans Scholarships for Spring Semester awards of $2,500 each for active-duty service personnel, honorably discharged U.S. military veterans, reservists, and National Guard personnel who are disabled because of wounds received during active-duty combat service in Enduring Freedom-Afghanistan or Iraqi Freedom Operations; must be an undergraduate student studying electrical, aerospace, systems or computer engineering; computer engineering technology; computer network systems; information systems security; computer information systems; information systems management; technology management; electronics engineering technology; computer science; physics; mathematics; or science or mathematics education

East-West Center Graduate Degree Fellowship provides Master's and Doctoral funding for graduate students from Asia, the Pacific, and the U.S. to participate in educational and research programs at the East-West Center while pursuing graduate study at the University of Hawai‘i; areas of international study including politics, governance and security, economics, environmental change, population and health, education and Pacific islands development

Harvey Fellows Program Christians; various fields; graduate work

The Maxim Smith Social Justice Scholarship hopes to support a motivated and committed student interested in pursuing advanced education in social justice, immigration rights, civil rights, anti-harassment, and gender and women’s studies. Undergraduate students may apply.

Princeton in Africa  for students who have completed a bachelor's degree; 12-month fellowship opportunities with a variety of organizations across Africa dedicated to creating young leaders committed to Africa's advancement

Public Policy and International Affairs (PPIA) Fellowship  for current, undergraduate juniors or rising seniors interested in exploring careers in public service, international affairs; receive stipend to attend Junior Summer Institute and $5,000 towards graduate degree

 

December

Echoing Green Fellowship (Interested students must contact the Office of External Fellowships) any field, two-year grants to social entrepreneurs for seed money; requires a bachelor's degree

Princeton in Asia for students who have completed a bachelor's degree; yearlong, service-oriented fellowships in 18 Asian countries in the fields of education, international development (NGOs), environmental advocacy, journalism, law and business, with a majority of fellows working as English teachers at universities and high schools

Princeton in Latin America  for students who have completed a bachelor's degree; partnerships with non-profits throughout Latin America to match them with young, public sector professionals seeking full-year fellowships in development work

U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) Greater Research Opportunities (GRO) Undergraduate Fellowships for undergraduate sophomores pursuing environmental studies (can be from a variety of different fields); receive support for junior and senior years, as well as a summer internship with EPA between junior and senior year; up to $17,000 per year and $7,500 in internship support

Simon Fellowship for Noble Purpose a $40,000 unrestricted grant awarded to graduating college seniors who have demonstrated passion, dedication, a high capacity for self-direction, and originality in pursuit of a goal that will strengthen civil society; additional awards of $20,000 and $10,000 are made to two other outstanding students

Udall Congressional Summer Internship for Native Americans  internship positions for Native American Indians and Alaska Natives in Washington, DC, for a summer; college juniors, seniors or recent graduates and graduate or law students

Rangel Summer Enrichment Program six-week program focusing on current events and international affairs; for undergraduates, held at Howard University in Washington, DC

Institute for Responsible Citizenship summer fellowships in Washington, DC, and NYC for African-American males; college sophomores only

Congressional Black Caucus Foundation General Mills Health Scholarship  for students preparing to pursue an undergraduate or graduate degree full-time OR a current full-time student in good academic standing at an accredited college or university pursuing a degree in the fields of medicine, engineering, technology, nutrition, or other health-related studies; minimum 2.5 GPA on 4.0 scale and exhibit leadership ability and participate in community service activities

Jewish Federation Academic Scholarship Program for Jewish college and graduate students pursuing degrees in the "helping" professions

Udall Scholarship for Undergraduate (Interested students must contact the Office of External Fellowships) for Native American or Alaska Native college juniors who have demonstrated commitment to careers related to tribal public policy; or who have demonstrated commitment to careers related to Native health care

Wellstone Fellowship for Social Justice  social justice and health care advocacy and policy; seeks to increase the number of low-income, African American, Latino, Asian American, Native Pacific Islander, and Native American Indian and Alaska Native social justice leaders

Tillman Military Scholars

The Clark Law group Scholarship is offering financial assistance to a student who is the son or daughter of a former or currently active military member.

The Go Coast Guard College Student Pre-Commissioning Initiative Scholars Program (CSPI) is designed for individuals demonstrating academic and leadership excellence and who desire to serve their country in the United States Coast Guard.  Students currently enrolled in a full-time bachelor's degree program at a designated institution (UIC is designated) with the desire to complete college and receive a guaranteed commission as an officer in the United States Coast Guard are eligible to apply.

Government Finance Officers Association Scholarships  finance, accounting, business administration, and public administration looking to go into state and local government finance

Partnership for Public Service  current students or recent graduates of graduate or professional programs, paid internships in public service for a summer, semester or academic year in Washington, DC

Teach for America for students who have recently completed a bachelor's degree; placement in high schools in urban centers across the U.S. for a minimum of two years

U.S. Air Force Health Scholarships Program for students accepted into an accredited health professional program; program is paid for in return for serving in the U.S Air Force as a health professional

U.S. Army Health Professions Scholarship Program for students going into a health profession, and school is paid for by the Army; pay-back is by serving in the U.S. Army as a health professional
